Intelligent commentary on the Pope's recent imbroglio has been scarce. If you are in search of some, take a look at Cronaca's posts here and here (he also provides a link to the complete text of the Pope's address, another remarkably scarce item). But if, like me, you find yourself most intrigued by Twenty-six Dialogues with a Persian by Manuel II Paleologus, I have been unable to find it online. Indeed, I'm uncertain whether it has ben completely translated into English, though there seems to be a German translation. If anyone knows something I don't, I'd be glad to hear it.
