What have we been up to lately? Well, we were up in Telluride, visiting a friend and hiking. It had snowed fairly heavily the week before, so the north facing slopes were heavily whitened, while the sunlit exposures had melted out nicely. Below is Mount Sneffels, named after an Icelandic peak. The switchbacks we ascended up to Blue Lakes Pass at 13,000 feet are visible. Alas, a late start and insufficient vigour prevented us from venturing higher on Sneffels. Good reason to come back!
